This quote has a few different meanings. The first, and most obvious one, is that we should let ourselves get sick. We should let ourselves become ill, and we should even let it take its full course. If we can heal ourselves, we will heal our body and our mind.

But the second meaning of this quote has to do with getting back on track after falling off track. If you get back on track after falling flat on your face, your progress will be that much greater than if you had never fallen at all.
